Here at Granny's we have an interesting way of naming our blends. We have asked our youngest daughter to tell you the story.

Granny is actually Rose Sivia. She has seven grandchildren ranging from 4 to 14 in age. Six of the seven were born to Angela Sivia, who died of cancer in January of 2001. Shortly after that the business was formed and named Granny Sivia's Coffee in honor of Angela's life. The other grandchild is the son of heather Cornelius. The names of the coffee blends are the names of the grandchildren. (I wasn't too happy about that, since I was informed that I would not have a blend named after me since I was merely a child not a grandchild.)
Justin is the firstborn and now 14 and in the 8th grade. Like the average teenage boy, he is obsessed with video games and like a true older brother, enjoys picking on his younger siblings.
Jacob is 11 and in fourth grade. Ever since he was little he has been helping take care of the younger children.
Zachary, who is nine and in third grade, enjoys learning and could do anything he wanted to if he could use his knowledge for good instead of evil.
Haylee is eight, in third grade and the only girl of the bunch. She tends to get lost in the sea of boys at times, but keeps up with them quite well.
Chase is six and in first grade. He is independent and determined. Amazingly, he has learned how to tune out all of his siblings while he watches TV, which is his favorite thing to do.
At five, Cameron is the baby of Angela's crew and will start kindergarten in the fall. He loves educational activities and is quite spoiled, the way the baby should be.
Heather's son, Caleb is the youngest of the grandchildren and is four. He is well mannered and sweet to everyone. He enjoys trains and is also quite spoiled since he is an only child, but not for long, right Heather?
So there it is; seven grandchildren and certainly more to come from Heather and my brother Joel who has yet to procreate, but give him time. Luckily for me, Angela had my kids for me, and my parents have enough grandchildren without me having to reproduce.
By the way, I'm Crystal, the youngest of Granny's children and the one that was 'volunteered' to tell this story.
